Baby Autumn is chillin' in her cool chair.
Um, could I get some help blowing out this thing?
Can we just get one good shot you two?

Nora's Birthday
The first birthday seems to be such a milestone. It is just hard to believe that a year ago, Nora was in my belly and we were a one child family. As I reflect on our perfect birth, I also imagine a day when Nora and I can sneak out of the house on football Sunday for a long hike. She is an amazing spirit, so incredibly sweet but very spunky and determined all at the same time. She climbs on EVERYTHING and gets into anything that she is not supposed to; think dog food, toilet, daddy's cell. She calls us by name, Ma Ma Ma, Daa, and of course her favorite, Du. Nora has balanced our family in such a positive way and it really is hard to believe that she was not toddling around on this earth a year ago...
We had a wonderful and cozy little party to celebrate. Baba and Deda came from the region, Grandma and Grandpa were also there. The Lamkins, Pucketts, and Claire Corbin were there to party as well as our new friends, Tom, Shael, Lily and Cole. We had cake and cupcakes and played in the basement and opened presents. The highlight was not for Nora but Drew who got to play his guitar with Puckett Ryan (as he calls our friend Puckett). Best Possum ever. When I was putting Drew to sleep that night he said, "Mom, I hope you had a great time," followed by, "I like Puckett". So cheers, we made it through that crazy first year that starts with labor and ends with a walking, talking, cherished little girl.

Blog On
After enjoying our friend's blogs, I have decided to start our own. You can now check out what is going on in our lives whenever you want! Although we are not on a trek around the world, life is certainly a trip.
